McCain needs a big night and an economic turn around

I've never seen the economy and Dow drop this dramatically. I think the failing economy is obviously helping Obama. But the economy might effect local elections: school expansion, Fruita rec-center, and new police facility. So tonight is critical for McCain.

i don't think mccain was offensive enough. he had some really good attacks, but obama was able to counter-punch very well. plus with our economy being in such a horrible state people tend to blame the party in power i.e. the republicans, so there wasn't really too much mccain could say to make people sway his way. but he did implement a new mortgage policy, so that might help him. but overall i think the debate didn't change the polls or the candidates momentum

Obama definitely got the voter's support with his economic plan. I was watching that CNN poll line of Ohio voters and the line was at the top so much with Obama, while McCain's line was way lower. His plan has way more appeal to the middle class, who is the most affected by the crisis.

It seemed like McCain was looking for a fight last night and Obama refused to bite. After the debate I watched the commentary and one of the women said that Obama acted like McCain wasn't there. I heard many people saying Obama was very "presidential." I was disappointed in both of them because they refused to the follow the time limit. McCain was hilarious when he said that about Tom "definately not you Tom."
